Stainless steel heat exchange tube

‌Stainless steel seamless pipe is a long steel strip with a hollow cross-section and no seams around it. It is widely used in industrial pipelines such as petroleum, chemical, medical, food, light industry, mechanical instruments, and mechanical structural parts. The thicker the wall, the higher the economy and practicality, while the thinner the wall, the higher the processing cost.

Its main alloying elements include chromium, nickel, molybdenum, etc. Chromium is the basic element that makes stainless steel corrosion-resistant. When the chromium content in steel reaches about 12%, chromium reacts with oxygen in the corrosive medium to form a dense oxide film on the steel surface to prevent further corrosion of the steel matrix. In addition, stainless steel seamless pipes also have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, high strength and easy processing.

Thick-walled stainless steel pipe is a stainless steel pipe with a wall thickness of 10-50.0mm, while those with a wall thickness of more than 50mm are called extra-thick-walled stainless steel pipes. This type of pipe plays an important role in many industrial fields with its excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and good mechanical properties. The manufacturing process is relatively complicated, but after years of development, a relatively mature production process has been formed, including raw material preparation, perforation, hot rolling or cold rolling, sizing, cooling, straightening, inspection and other links1. Perforation is the key step in making a rough tube from a solid tube, while hot rolling or cold rolling is to further process the rough tube according to specific needs to obtain the required size and performance of the tube.

Stainless steel large diameter pipes refer to stainless steel pipes with a larger outer diameter, usually with an outer diameter of more than 300mm, which can be divided into seamless large diameter stainless steel pipes and straight seam large diameter stainless steel pipes. The materials of this type of pipe mainly include 304 stainless steel, 304L stainless steel, 321 stainless steel, TP316L stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, etc.

Stainless steel large diameter pipes are widely used in many fields due to their superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties:
  • ‌Food production equipment: Due to its good corrosion resistance, it is often used in the manufacture of food processing equipment.
  • ‌Chemical equipment: Suitable for the manufacture of various chemical equipment and can resist corrosion from a variety of chemical media.
  • ‌Nuclear energy field: It is also widely used in nuclear energy equipment and can withstand high temperature and high pressure environments.

‌Stainless steel heat exchange tubes are important components in heat exchangers, mainly used for heat exchange between two media. They have high thermal conductivity and good isothermal properties, can quickly transfer heat energy with almost no heat loss, and are therefore called heat transfer superconductors. Stainless steel heat exchange tubes are usually made of 0.5-0.8mm thin-walled stainless steel pipes, which improves the overall heat transfer performance. Under the same heat exchange area, the heat transfer coefficient of stainless steel heat exchange tubes is 2.121-8.408% higher than that of copper tubes.

‌‌ Advantage:
  • ‌High heat transfer efficiency: Stainless steel heat exchange tubes are made of thin-walled stainless steel pipes, which improves the overall heat exchange performance and has a higher heat transfer coefficient than copper tubes.
  • ‌Strong corrosion resistance: Stainless steel itself has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for various corrosive media.

Stainless steel bright precision tube is a high-precision stainless steel tube made by special process, with high precision, high finish, excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. Its inner and outer walls are uniform, the tolerance control range is small, the surface finish is high, it can withstand high pressure and is not easy to deform.

Stainless steel bright precision tubes are widely used in many fields:
  • ‌Mechanical equipment: used to manufacture various mechanical parts and structural components, such as bearings, pneumatic components, etc.
  • ‌Bathroom industry: Such as shower columns, towel racks, faucets, etc., which are popular due to their sanitary materials and beautiful appearance.
  • ‌Industrial field: Widely used in petrochemical, electric power, shipbuilding, aerospace and other fields for conveying fluids and manufacturing various equipment.

‌Stainless steel welded pipe is a pipe product made by welding stainless steel sheets into pipes and then welding them. It is widely used in various industries, especially in areas that require corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The production process of stainless steel welded pipe is simple, the production efficiency is high, the variety and specifications are wide, and the equipment investment is low, but the general strength is lower than that of seamless steel pipe.

The production process of stainless steel welded pipe usually includes the following steps:
  • ‌Rolling forming: Stainless steel plates or strips are rolled into shape through a machine unit and a mold.
  • ‌Welding: The curled tube is welded.
  • ‌Quality inspection: Carry out quality inspection on the pipes after welding to ensure the quality of the welds.

‌‌Stainless steel pipe fittings are pipe fittings made of stainless steel, which are mainly used for various pipeline connections. Stainless steel pipe fittings include many types, such as stainless steel elbows, stainless steel tees, stainless steel crosses, stainless steel reducers and stainless steel pipe caps, etc. The main materials include 304, 304L, 316, 316L, etc. These materials have good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties and are suitable for various industrial environments. 12. The specifications range from Ф3.0mm to 450.0mm, and can be divided into four types according to the connection method: socket type, threaded type, flange type and welding type. 13. Different types of stainless steel pipe fittings have different uses.

Flange, also known as flange flange or flange. Flange is a part that connects shafts to each other and is used to connect pipe ends. There are also flanges used on the inlet and outlet of equipment to connect two equipment, such as reducer flanges. Flange connection or flange joint refers to a detachable connection that is connected by flanges, gaskets and bolts as a combined sealing structure. Pipe flange refers to the flange used for piping in pipeline devices. When used on equipment, it refers to the inlet and outlet flanges of the equipment. There are holes on the flange, and bolts connect the two flanges tightly. Gaskets are used to seal between flanges.
